2010 Annual Golf Tournament Fund Raiser

This year's Annual Golf Tournament Fund Raiser was held at the Industry Hills Golf Club located at the Pacific Palms Resort in the City of Industry. "The 18-hole course is named for Babe Didrikson Zaharias, one of America 's most decorated all-around athletes. In fact, in a poll conducted by the Associated Press, Americans voted her the world's greatest woman athlete of the first half of the 20 th Century. Today, the "Babe" welcomes players of every skill level who are eager to experience a remarkable feat of design and engineering."  http://www.ihgolfclub.com/babe.htm

From the time the golfers arrived at the golf club, myriads of contests and activities were provided by our wonderful volunteer staff. Lunch were provided for all golfers on the 10th hole of the course. Following golf, there was an eventful dinner and a silent auction on prizes for the players.

This wonderful annual fund raiser benefits the children and families who participated in Foundation's Headstart programs.  Foundation operates 34 centers, serving over 1500 low-income children throughout the greater Los Angeles Metropolitan area. These children receive free high quality early childhood education programs that have been documented to greatly improve the ability of the child to be successful in school. All money raised from this golf tournament will be utilized to provide the continuation of services to these children and their families.

We thank you for your support, and hope that you enjoy a wonderful filled day.  See you next year!
